We are proud to formally introduce the leadership behind Mom-Get-Up—a growing, membership-based organization committed to uplifting, equipping, and connecting mothers through intentional programming and meaningful experiences. Founded with purpose and guided by vision, Mom-Get-Up was created to respond to the real needs of mothers while fostering community, leadership, and opportunity.
As we prepare for our next chapter, we are excited to share who we are, what we stand for, and the impactful work we are building together.
Our Mission
Mom-Get-Up exists to uplift, equip, and celebrate mothers in every stage of life. Through transformative programs, inspiring events, and community-driven initiatives, we create supportive spaces where mothers feel seen, valued, and empowered. We believe that when mothers are supported, families thrive—and when families thrive, communities are strengthened for generations to come.
Meet the Founders
Rebecca Jackson - Founder
Rebecca Jackson is the Founder of Mom-Get-Up and a seasoned entrepreneur with years of experience leading community-centered organizations and large-scale initiatives. She is also the Founder of the Pee Dee Black Expo and the Miss Locs Pageant—platforms recognized for celebrating culture, entrepreneurship, and leadership.
Known as a visionary and natural connector, Rebecca brings people, organizations, and shared purpose together in ways that create opportunity and collective growth. Her leadership style blends strategy with heart, aligning passion and structure to help individuals and communities thrive.
In addition to her professional leadership, Rebecca is a proud mother of three beautiful daughters and one granddaughter. Her lived experience as a mother and grandmother deeply informs her commitment to building spaces where women feel supported, valued, and empowered across every stage of life.
Angelique Miles - Co-Founder
Angelique Miles serves as Co-Founder of Mom-Get-Up, providing strategic leadership, operational oversight, and creative direction for the organization. She holds a dual degree in Business Administration and English and has completed a Paralegal Certification, bringing a strong foundation in business strategy, communication, and organizational structure.
Angelique is also the Owner and Creative Director of Uniquely Designed & Co., LLC, a marketing and creative agency specializing in branding, strategic communications, and event marketing. Her professional background includes experience in administration, budgeting, project management, and strategic leadership across both nonprofit and business environments.
Angelique is a wife and a proud mother to a three-year-old daughter, and her perspective as a working mom shapes her approach to leadership, planning, and execution. At Mom-Get-Up, she is committed to building sustainable systems and impactful programs that support mothers while maintaining organizational excellence and long-term vision.
Looking Ahead: What We’re Building
As we continue laying a strong foundation, our focus this year is on growth, planning, and strategic development. Our flagship events are set to launch in Fall 2026, including:
Mom Pageant — A modern, purpose-driven celebration highlighting confidence, leadership, and personal growth among mothers.
Mom Fest — A large-scale community experience centered on connection, resources, and family-friendly engagement.
These initiatives represent our commitment to creating experiences that are both impactful and well-executed, with long-term sustainability in mind.
